Thanks to you, dear readers and partners, we are celebrating together this sixth anniversary of Lte-magazine. Since its first appearance in July 2015, your media has continued to gain ground in the world of telecoms and ICTs, without ceasing to evolve and progress. First published in French and enriched since then by its English version, Lte-magazine is today, in the telecoms and digital landscape, a player who ensures, beyond communication, the monitoring of regulation and technological advances.

We, therefore, thank all our partners for their much-appreciated support and all the contributors for their contributions and their participation which enriches our support day by day. Our thanks also go to all of our loyal readers who continue to share our content: we appreciate all your messages of encouragement. To see the trajectory of Lte magazine since its launch in 2015, I invite you to read the interview conducted by Mohamed Tahar Sbihi.

In this rich issue, we first offer you, as announced in Lte magazine N36, a dossier, a topical subject: quantum computing. The design of the quantum computer is a breakthrough innovation that will revolutionize all fields. Indeed, quantum computing will far exceed the power of classical computing in the field of encryption. The capabilities offered by this technology promise to see the emergence of new applications, including in the field of finance. Several large banks are planning to use quantum computing and reap its benefits, while it is not yet ready for large-scale commercialization. To better understand this quantum technology, we offer you an interview with Mr. Hassan DAOUD, an expert in quantum computing in Morocco.

The other part of Lte-magazine is devoted to frequencies used in astronomy and communication between probes and the earth. While waiting for the advent of lasers capable of providing us with almost real-time telecommunications over long distances, we must know, for the moment, that it is well-chosen frequencies that allow us to communicate with the various devices sent into the air space, especially towards the planet Mars. For this part, inspired by the work of Mr. Nacer Chahat, a telecom engineer at the NASA research center, Mr. Rayan Richard offers us an article on the frequencies used for the exploration of Mars. For the record, Mr. Chahat is one of the engineers behind the design and success of the Ingenuity helicopter's flight over the planet Mars.

In this article, our speaker talks about NASA's desire to design a new laser communication system between the two planets that would be 10 times faster than transmission by radio waves. He also mentions the desire of NASA to entrust the management of telecommunications around Mars to the private sector. In addition to the article by Richard Rayan, we offer an excerpt from an interview conducted by Lte-magazine with NASA astronaut Mr. Daniel Tani. The interview sheds light on the frequencies used in and around the international station (ISS) and during the trip to the moon.

In connection with the missions to the planet Mars, we offer you in the free forum section an article by Ata-Ilah Khaouja and Ahmed Khaouja: "Decryption of a message from a Martian to the earthlings".
