In a nearly daily basis, the press publishes articles on drones highlighting new applications. Small drones have demonstrated their ability to carry out civil missions of a wide variety of types, such as the surveillance of engineering structures, antenna infrastructures or agricultural operations:
1- Fight against forest fires:
Some countries use drones equipped with optical and infrared cameras to detect fires or to map damage. Recently, drones using thermal cameras to detect heat have been implemented. These types of drones are used in particular for the detection of fires in forests.
2- Sporting events:
In some countries, drones are used to detect various crimes in stadiums. They are also used to film certain events such as what has been achieved during the Winter Olympics in Sochi to film the skiing events.
3- Maintenance of infrastructures such as dams or bridges:
Drones are already being used to control or detect damage to certain structures such as bridges or dams.
4-Farming:
Drones can save farmers considerable time and optimize the yield of their plots thanks to these equipped drones which allow an accurate aerial view and the collection of a lot of data.
5-Infrastructure:
